IS 1077 — what it means

IS 1077 is the Bureau of Indian Standards specification for common burnt clay building bricks. It defines requirements for compressive strength, water absorption, efflorescence and dimensional tolerance.

BBC1's Dabbi and Grill bricks are tested by an accredited lab to IS 1077. We provide batch-specific test reports to contractors who need them for structural engineer sign-off or government tender documentation.
